Then we will dive into local pet grooming and pet cafes around town. Animal friendly will also get their own section for any out of towners that are reading this.
Or if you are planning to leave home for a bit we will talk about the best places for pet boarding near you. At the end we will get into some unfortunate topics like veterinarians and dog or cat cremation.

Best Pet Stores In San Jose
Whether you are trying to add a member to your family or just need some new toys, food, or supplies the best pet stores in San Jose should be able to satisfy your needs:
There will be a wide variety of collars, leashes, toys, carriers, beds, and other pet supplies at each of those stores. Healthy pet foods for dogs, cats, and other animals are also available.

The shelter at the San José Animal Care Center is always putting up photos of the current adoptable dogs, cats, and other pets they have in their shelter. They accept donations, volunteers, and do a ton of great work for the stray animals in the community. You can also contact them for assistance with a lost or found pet, and they can even help you get a pet license.
The Dancing Cat focuses on adoption for foster cats and they also accept volunteer work.

Best Veterinarians Near You
If medical problems arise head to one of the best veterinarians near you and get the best care:
You can expect to find basic health care for animals like flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, parasite control, vaccinations, microchipping, and standard pet surgeries at all of those.
Pinnacle Animal Hospital is Cat Friendly Certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners and they will also provide some veterinary care for exotic animals.
